Overview

Chaos Pirates is a free fan-operated game server. We keep the data we collect to the
minimum needed to run accounts, the game, and Chaos Crystal top-ups. We do not sell
your data.

What we collect

• Account details: the username you choose and your password, which is stored only

as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never store or see your plain password.

• Game data: your characters, progress, items, and Chaos Crystal balance, as needed

to run the game.

• Purchase records: when you top up Chaos Crystals, our payment provider (Xsolla)

processes the payment. We receive a record of the transaction (amount, status, a
reference id) for accounting and to credit your account. We never receive or store
your full card number — card data is handled by the payment provider.

• Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamps)

used for security, anti-cheat, and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To create and operate your account and characters.
• To deliver Chaos Crystals you purchase and keep purchase records.
• To keep the game fair and secure (anti-cheat, fraud and abuse prevention).
• To provide support when you contact us.

Sharing

We share data only with the payment processor needed to complete a purchase (Xsolla),
and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

The website uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. It is not used for
advertising or third-party tracking.

Data retention

We keep account and game data while your account exists. Purchase records may be kept
longer where required for accounting or legal reasons.

Your choices

You may request deletion of your account by contacting staff. Some records tied to
completed purchases may be retained as required by law.

Children

The service is not directed to children under the age required to consent in your
region. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact staff and we will remove it.
