Terms & Rules

1. Acceptance

Chaos Pirates is a free, fan-operated private server for the Tales of Pirates II
(PKO 2.0) game client. By creating an account, downloading the client, or playing,
you agree to these Terms & Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are a
minor, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. One person is
responsible for all activity on their account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens
on your account. Never share your login. We will never ask for your password outside
of the login form on this website. Report a compromised account to staff immediately.

4. Virtual goods & Chaos Crystals

Chaos Crystals and all in-game items, characters, levels, and currency are a licensed,
revocable privilege — not your property and not redeemable for real money.

• Chaos Crystal top-ups are purchases of digital credit used only inside Chaos Pirates.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law.
• Crystals and items have no cash value, cannot be sold for real money, and may be

adjusted, reset, or removed (for example to fix bugs, exploits, or fraud).

• Buying, selling, or trading accounts, characters, or items for real-world money

("RMT") is prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.

5. Rules of conduct

To keep the seas fair, the following are not allowed:

• Cheating, hacking, botting, automation, or exploiting bugs instead of reporting them.
• Using third-party programs that modify the client or game memory.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonating staff or other players, or scamming other players.
• Advertising other servers or services, or spamming.
• Real-money trading of accounts, characters, gold, or items.
• Any attempt to disrupt the service (DDoS, exploiting the website, etc.).

6. Enforcement

Staff may warn, mute, kick, suspend, roll back, or permanently ban any account that
breaks these rules, with or without notice, at their discretion. Severe or repeated
violations may result in a permanent ban without refund of any kind.

7. Service availability

Chaos Pirates is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted
service, and maintenance, wipes, or downtime may occur. We are not liable for lost
progress, items, or Crystals.

8. Changes

These terms may change as the server evolves. Continued play after changes means you
accept the updated terms.

9. Not affiliated

Chaos Pirates is a non-commercial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by
the original developers or publishers of Pirate King Online / Tales of Pirates. All
trademarks belong to their respective owners.
